Reddit User Edit Brings PewDiePie Into Minecraft

Many gamers have fantasized about how it would be like to live in Minecraft. Many players yearn for a sense of simplicity. One Redditor, on the other hand, went a step further and used some excellent editing to place PewDiePie in a Minecraft world.

For the time being, because VR and AR technology haven’t nearly arrived, “living” in the game isn’t an option. However, it is rather simple to include someone’s likeness into a game. Developers do this with video game characters. And this is exactly what u/Lord Piongus, a Reddit user, has attempted to do with their invention, captioning it: “I spent 100 hours editing pewds into minecraft”.

Pewdiepie has 111 million YouTube subscribers at the time of writing. That’s the fourth-highest total of all time, with T-Series holding the top spot with 208 million subscribers. Pewdiepie has nearly 4,000 videos to his name. Because Minecraft is a game he enjoys, many of these are about it. As a result, there are numerous segments from those videos that can be seamlessly edited into a Minecraft setting. That’s exactly what Reddit user Lord Plongus did, and the outcome is fantastic.

What’s more astounding is the inclusion of clips that clearly aren’t from video games. There are a lot of quotes, but there’s also a lot of information from Pewdiepie’s other videos. He infiltrates a jungle temple and fights a creeper in the video. The background is fluid and changes on the fly to match the video’s movement.

It may have taken over 100 hours, but the end result is fantastic. It received the mod’s choice award, which is a huge accolade for a Reddit post. The post has received a staggering 22 thousand upvotes as well as favorable comments left and right in just one day.

Others praised the creator of the original poster for devoting so much effort to it. The spectators profit the most from all the hard effort because there is no compensation and it appears that this was just produced for pleasure.

If the video continues to gather attention, Pewdiepie himself might view it. That would be even another high honor for the creator, as well as a nice return for all of their efforts.
