Reason Why Erobb Was Banned

Despite being heavily involved in all the entertaining hijinks that made up Shit Camp, Erobb received an unexpected ban last week from Twitch, and the punishment had nothing to do with his activity there.

Erobb announced today on Twitter that he has been suspended for 30 days and that he will be permitted to stream once more on October 9th. He also revealed the rationale for the punishment in a reply. Erobb claimed in a tweet that Twitch had suspended him for “threatening to beat up a viewer” at TwitchCon.

TwitchCon is the company’s annual convention, and it alternates between two cities: one in America and one in Europe. The event’s in-person component was put on hold during the pandemic, but it will resume this year with a U.S. edition taking place from October 7-9. It is unknown if Erobb’s channel ban will prevent him from going to the occasion. Erobb did not mention if he will be attending TwitchCon or provide more information about his penalty in his posts to social media today. As many people are aware, Twitch doesn’t publicly comment on specific stream behavior.

With approximately 1,166 hours of airtime and an average audience of 4,048 people so far this year, Erobb has garnered 4.7 million hours of viewing. In the recent months, he has frequently taken part in collaboration material with other streamers, such as the QT Cinderella’s Shit Camp and Camp Knut’s bodybuilding boot camp.
