RaulZito Arrested & Banned From Twitch

Raulino de Oliveira Maciel AKA RaulZito has now been banned from both Twitch and Youtube after he was arrested for child sexual assault last month on suspicion of raping two children.

Raulino de Oliveira Maciel is a video game streamer and content creator who goes by RaulZito online.

Maciel has 117,000 followers on the live-streaming platform Twitch and roughly 144,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel. According to his channel description, which is in English, his “Headquarters” comprises “several child talents” with whom he produces family-friendly content. Back in July, it has been reported that the Fortnite Brazilian twitch streamer RaulZito has been arrested for sexual predation of “child theater, film, and TV actors.” The victims are reportedly child actors between 10 and 14 years old.

The streamer contacted the children through Instagram promising access to jobs and saying that he had been hired by a major TV station, police said. His team, SBT Games, has since dropped the streamer and is waiting for the results of the investigation. Now, earlier in August 12th, Twitch has now banned RaulZito from the platform, however, he still remains a Twitch Partner.

Additionally, his Youtube channel has also now been taken down. However, although the luring allegedly took place on Instagram, RaulZito’s account remains intact on that platform. His last public activity on social media was July 12. The Instagram page, which was allegedly used to seek out the victims, sits at 205k followers. It’s good that RaulZito continues to be removed from spaces in which they can harm others.
