Rainbow Six Coach Mav Suspended

Rafael Loureiro Freitas most commonly known as mav is a Brazilian Rainbow Six Siege player who currently coaches for Team Liquid. Team Liquid recently suspended mav because of his being accused of abusing his former girlfriend. The Twitter account with the user name SilverMistR6 claimed that Mav slammed her against a wall in a bar after he got drunk one night while still on the FaZe Clan roster. Screenshots were shared together with a series of texts between mav and his ex-girlfriend.

Throughout the conversations, instances of physical abuse were mentioned. In the now deleted tweet of Mav, he admitted that he did physically push his ex-girlfriend. After this, Team Liquid posted a statement on the matter announcing that the coach was suspended. Team liquid stated; “These are extremely serious and worrying claims. We want to assure the community, and the people who showed concern for what happened, that we are investigating carefully and that we suspend any and all work with mav until the investigation is completed”.

Regardless, Mav told his fans via a twitter post that it was; “wrong to push my ex”, or to push anyone in general. He further explained that people weren’t getting the entire story from the screenshots and accusations.
