“R Slur” Word Used By Fitz

Twitch Streamer Cameron McKay also known as Fitz was accused of using the slur word ‘Retarded’ wihile playing on the EpicSMP Minecraft server.

While streaming he realized what he said was offensive and thought that people on Twitter and the streaming platforms would get mad at him for using the word.

During his live broadcast last saturday, Fitz was wandering around on the server and stopped in the middle of nowhere and asked himself what he was doing and said that he’s retarted.

His choice of word quickly spread all over social media platforms and the majority of his fans and followers criticized him for his language. Some defended him saying that it wasn’t intentional but mostly thought that he’s reckless and insensitive of his own choice of words.

Fitz was also surprised when his action quickly spread and responded in a sarcastic way and said that he hopes that someday he will live in a place where no one can say anything about anything at all.

One of his followers replied to the streamer’s tweet and lectured him about his choice of words. The user emphasized that Fitz can say whatever he wants but to make sure that his words will not hurt or degrade certain people and said that all his words have consequences.

Fitz didn’t apologize and seemed to move on from the issue but people in the streaming community hope that he will be careful in his choice of words so that no one will be offended.
