QTCinderella Bullied

QTCinderella, a Twitch star and organizer of the Streamer Awards, revealed up about her background before being famous on the internet, stating she was “super bullied” in school.

QTCinderella broke records with the Streamer Awards this past March. QT’s event, which featured some of the platform’s biggest and brightest stars, drew a remarkable 380,000 concurrent views and even made it into the top five Twitter trends. The brains behind the streamer-organized, streamer-centric award show made tremendous impacts in the industry and is already planning improvements for next year’s event… yet a peek back from the gleaming summit of success reveals a rough history for the content creator.

QT reflected on her background before discovering Twitch in an April 12 interview with InvenGlobal, a month after The Streamer Awards took over social media. According to the streamer, she was bullied severely in high school before finding a home on Twitch with other people who had been cast out as well.

She stated, “I was super bullied in high school. I didn’t necessarily fit in. And so, the cool thing about the streaming industry is it’s a bunch of people that didn’t fit in. A lot of streamers have the same background as me. And so I’m on my island of misfit toys, but now I am the one with the ability to want to bring people together.”

QT’s terrible past has influenced her future objectives; she stated in the interview that her ultimate goal is “to help people that feel alone” through her Twitch work.

Cinderella previously explained why she started the Streamer Awards, claiming that it was “a fun way to get 250 streamers in one room and recognize people who have never been recognized.” It appears like QT’s mission was a huge success, and fans are hoping she will do it again in the future.
