Pokimane Thanks Video Games

Pokimane is one of the most well-known streamers on the internet, as well as Twitch’s most popular female streamer. After over a decade of broadcasting, she got to the top of Twitch, despite her fair share of issues that helped her brand expand across the internet.

She’s made a lot of friends in the industry over the course of her career, with whom she frequently collaborates. She’s one of the most well-known members of the streamer collective Offline TV, which also includes Disguised Toast, Lilypichu, Sykkuno, and a slew of other well-known content creators. 

She took to Twitter today to express her gratitude for the one thing that has brought her all of her connections throughout the years: video games. The tweet reads as; “I never thought I’d have the friends I have today, and it’s all thanks to video games.” 

Some of Pokimane’s friends responded to the post, including Valkyrae, the top female YouTube streamer, who expressed her delight at becoming Pokimane’s friend. ItsHafu, a streamer, revealed that she met her spouse and was able to make gaming her career in addition to making friends through video games. Poki’s statement was also met with a response from fellow female streamer xChoccoBars, who stated that she loves both Poki and video games. 

Several fans responded to the tweet, with many claiming that playing video games has helped them make very important friends, while others claimed that video games are simply a catalyst for loved ones to have a wonderful time and build beautiful memories. 

With so many people agreeing with Poki’s assertion, it appears that her fandom has had a similar experience meeting friends on the internet. With so many people discussing their online friendship experiences, it appears that the internet community is increasingly becoming a more rewarding area.
