Pokimane Speaks About Cat “Kidnapping’ Story

Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys, a popular Twitch streamer, told her fans a personal and touching story during one of her recent streams. As we all know, streamers tell stories, send out messages, make jokes, and interact with their audience. Pokimane keeps in touch with her fans by doing the same. 

Poki is a cat person, and she has a cat named Mimi, as previously stated. She’s completely smitten with her baby. Mimi was adopted in June 2018 and the two have since been inseparable. We also see her in Poki’s streams, which surely brightens her viewers’ spirits.

You’ve probably figured out that the incident involves Poki and Mimi by now. But, to everyone’s amazement, it was about Poki’s assumption that Mimi had been kidnapped shortly after she returned home from New York on Christmas and couldn’t find her cat. 

The events occurred in the typical manner, with her anxiously searching the home for her pet cat and calling out her name multiple times, but she was unable to locate her. Pokimane explained; “I had my camera out because I wanted to film Mimi’s reaction to me coming in after not seeing me for a full week. Mimi was nowhere to be found as she opened the door, much to her dismay. This led her to fear Mimi had been abducted while she was away.

Poki had an AirTag linked to Mimi’s collar, which relieved her. However, when she located it, she discovered that the AirTag and collar had been totally disconnected. This is when she began to feel anxious. Later, after she contacted her manager to get some details about this entire situation she was in, was informed, “The girl that was coming into your apartment to feed your cat took it back to her apartment with her. She kicked the AirTag off, and it was hard to put it back on.”

Poki said; “Apparently, Mimi wasn’t really eating her food. The girl was worried, so she just brought her back to stay in her apartment. I messaged the girl, and she was like, ‘My bad. I should have told you.”

Poki finally heaved a sigh of relief after receiving the good news but was kind of upset to have gone through all of these rights after getting back home. “Your pet is like your child”, she said. Quite true, as many of you who house a pet can relate to her feelings. Hopefully, Poki doesn’t have to face such a situation in the future.
