Pokimane Shifts Gear In Her Career

Imane Anys aka Pokimane has been one of the most prominent names in the video gaming industry for years. She recently took over twitter to announce her next move as she is taking a new path with her career. Pokimane shared the youtube video on her twitter announcing to her fans and supporters that she will be creating a new youtube channel which she has named “Imane”, coming from her real name.

This channel will also serve as her passion project. In her channel, she posted a video stating; “For this channel, it’s just my name, which actually means faith in arabic. I essentially want to create this channel, just for it to be a place where I could share random non gaming related things that don’t go on my main channel.”

Pokimane claimed that she will be doing videos such as random hobbies, interests, vlogs, behind the scenes, the good, the bad, and more. She further explained as to why she came up doing this as she stated; “Being a content creator is a job admittedly you do feel some pressure, to kind of abide by certain guidelines or post that you feel will perform. I wanted to create a channel where I can post for the sake of enjoying what I am posting and sharing things that I love.” The community has responded positively to the new channel and to her move as her new channel quickly gained 83.8k subscribers and counting. It just contains a single video which is her announcement video and that video has garnered 230k so far.
