It seems like the long-standing rumors surrounding twitch streamer Imane Anys aka Pokimane’ mystery boyfriend have finally been put to rest as pokimane recently tweeted out stating that she is single. Pokimane might live in the public eye, but her private life is a pretty big secret and some netizens assumed that Pokimane has a mystery boyfriend.

So Pokimane took over twitter to update fans about her relationship status as she simply wrote, “single btw” Followed up by another tweet quickly clarifying that she isn’t looking for anyone currently as she was just tired of being asked the same question over and over again. She wrote; “not looking. Just tired of seeing the same question/assumption over n over lol”. Her first tweet has gone viral as the original tweet has gained nearly 150,000 likes in just four hours, and others have jumped on the “single btw” trend. Her fellow streamers such as Peter Park, LuLuLuvely, LilyPichu, and TommyInnit replied to Pokimane’s tweet as they also shared their relationship status.

After the tweet took off on twitter, Pokimane uploaded a video on youtube explaining her reasons for sharing her viral post, which bordered between reacting to older drama and hoping to create a positive meme to share with what’s going on in her love life. Now that Pokimane has cleared the air in regards to her relationship status, hopefully it means she won’t have to deal with the question being asked so often on her Twitch streams and elsewhere.
