Pokimane Responds to Banned Twitch Donator

Twitch streamer Imane Anys aka Pokimane responded to a banned twitch donator after making some disgusting comments towards her and her fellow streamer and friend Hafu.

Several streamers have been sharing their stories about sexual harassment lately including Twitch streamer Sweet Anita who revealed about the harassment that she experienced.

Also, the former professional Hearthstone player Rumay Wang aka Hafu also chimed in revealing the back in 2008, a WoW team competed under a name that targeted her and Blizzard let it slide. Twitch streamer Pokimane expressed her sympathies to Hafu after her tweet and now, during her recent live broadcast, Poki brought the tweet back up expressing her disdain for the name and how the team were allowed to compete with it.

But then as she talks about it, one chatter has been banned from her stream. The chatter further donated to Poki to gain her attention threatening to unsubscribe if they weren’t unbanned. This has prompted Poki to take a look at the chatters log on what makes them banned. Pokimane ended up pretty disgusted by them as they called Hafu hot while she was 17 and seemingly excused the name.

Pokimane started to rant; “You are exactly the kind of person we don’t want in my community or in the greater gaming community at all. It is not just a joke to call someone who’s underage hot and justify the fact that people are saying they were going to sexually assault them. Also, it’s not okay to, instead of apologizing for your shi**y comments, to try to flip it and call me or my mods boring for ‘not getting the joke.’ You are so oblivious to your own problems, it’s painful.”

Pokimane was not finished there as she further continued her rant stating that she doesn’t care about their $2 sub and that she hopes that they will get banned from the platform completely.

The clip of her stream sits at over 800 upvotes on the r/LivestreamFails subreddit, with people rallying to support Pokimane and how she deals with toxic behavior. While the user won’t be seen around many streams for a while, the ban serves as a warning to others.
