Pokimane Defends Fan

Twitch star Imane Anys aka Pokimane has a large fanbase. Pokimane recently defended one of her fans after the fan-art made by the fan was criticized by others on social media. It all started when a fan that goes by the name Veoxylia uploaded an art style exploration drawing that was essentially a stylish portrait of Pokimane.

Pokimane looked at the picture for a while live on stream and adored Veoxylia’s drawing of her and she went on to thanked Veoxylia for her drawing. However, Pokimane was completely shocked after she seem to see the criticism as another member on the OfflineTV subreddit have commented on the drawing. Although the commenter have stated that he/she really liked the style and looked very cute, he/she criticized it by saying that; “the only negative thing is that it doesn’t look that much like Pokimane as it isn’t the type of the body she has.” Initially, Pokimane planned to respond by writing; “Hey, dude, I know you’re not trying to come across as being rude, but this type of criticism is just unnecessary, my friend. It’s just a drawing.”

But she then wondered whether it was worth saying anything at all as she stated; “I don’t even know if there’s much else to say. Do I really need to get into it?” then she deletes what she wrote. In the end, though, she couldn’t let it sit and decided to write something similar but with a little more attitude as she ended up writing again, “Hey, dude, who asked? On the real, though, this type of “criticism” is a bit unnecessary. It’s just a drawing.”
