Pokimane Condemns Twitch Streamers

The top female twitch streamer Imane Anys aka Pokimane has been considered as one of the most biggests streamers in the world with her net worth estimated to be in the millions. Pokimane has recently shared a strong opinion regarding how other streamers are attempting to gain subscribers in the platform. During one of her recent live broadcasts, she called out popular twitch streamers who are using specific types of marketing and promotion, calling it off-putting and unnecessary.

She stated; “People who have like 50k subs and they’re saying ‘let’s get to 51k’ all the time… I hate saying potentially controversial stuff or telling people what to do, but I find that off putting.” In Pokimane’s point of view, this is simply a way to convince followers to give them even more money and she said that it was not necessary especially for streams that already make so much money. She also went on to clarify that she was not referencing any particular streamers as she just wanted to give her opinion on that matter. However, many in her chat have pointed into the now controversial hot tub streamers on twitch and some of the big name gamers who consistently announce sub goals.

Pokimane also claimed that trying to earn a better living on twitch is not a bad thing and her beef is with streamers who do not need extra money and still use these tactics to encourage more fans to subscribe. She noted that there is a balance to using these kinds of marketing plyos and when someone is already doing well, she feels it might be on the greedy side of balance. Twitch streamer Pokimane has been quite vocal about limiting donations on her channel on twitch in the last few months, and she also capped her donation at $5 a pop. Also, according to twitch tracker, she boasts a touch under 7.7m followers and she has nearly 9k subscribers.
