Pokimane Asked To Prom

Pokimane’s Twitch streamer was invited to his winter formal dance by a dedicated Pokimane fan, who even developed an entire PowerPoint presentation to win her over.

Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys is one of Twitch’s most popular streamers and a female content creator with a large following. As a result, she’s amassed a sizable fan base, and she’ll occasionally meet up with fans at events or even while traveling abroad. However, one fan went over and beyond by adopting an extremely inventive technique to invite her to his prom.

The OfflineTV crew recently organized an in-person meet-and-greet event in Los Angeles, California on December 4th and 5th. While Pokimane was present, he had left the venue for an unknown period of time when a superfan approached the OTV staff with his master plan to convince Pokimane to attend his prom. 

The young man, dressed in a complete suit and bowtie, even developed a PowerPoint presentation to persuade her to go, which Poki demonstrated on a recent Twitch broadcast. As Anys played a video clip of his presentation for her viewers, he can be heard saying; “I’m studious. I do all my work on time.”

The streamer was clearly delighted by the student’s effort, adding she “loved the dedication,” but ultimately declining him. Pokimane stated; “I appreciate that, but you’re likely in high school, and that’s illegal. I’m in my twenties. I think that would be inappropriate and weird. But I hope you study hard and land a great, six-figure job!”

Despite the fact that she declined his offer, she said the gesture was “very cute” and “very funny.”
