Pokimane Apology

Imane Anys, aka Pokimane, is one of the most popular female streamers on Twitch. Imane recently posted on YouTube a video of herself apologizing for all of her controversies including the latest issues. The YouTube title of her video is “my overdue apology”. She has taken off a month but she still posted the video because of the criticism that she’s receiving. Imane has been in a lot of controversies with different personalities and she finally has decided to express her apology in order to clear things up once and for all.

The first topic that she addressed in the video was about her and keemstar. The two had an argument on Twitter, and a YouTuber named bowblax made a video content out of it. The video was taken down by Pokimane due to a copyright action. Imane says that she tried to resolve the issue directly to bowblax. She has also been targeted by others who are re-uploading her contents.

The second topic was about her issue with YouTuber ItsAGundam. Imane reacted to ItsAGundam for talking down to her fans which she was offended by. The video that ItsAGundam uploaded was a sponsored video. Imane apologized to ItsAGundam and the sponsor of the video for her reaction and for the remarks that she made.

The third topic was about her inappropriate language. There were clips that had been circulating on Twitter of Pokimane saying the N-word. “I still want to make it clear that I don’t condone to the use of that language,” she stated.

In the last part of the video she simply stated; “I don’t want my personal life to be part of my content. I want to experience my relationship without the scrutiny of an online audience. And if you disagree, that is totally alright. You don’t have to support me or my content”.
