Pokelawls Speaks Openly About Black Lives Matter

Pokelawls, is one of the early VRChat Twitch streamers who began playing the game in 2017 and formed Team Five with Vince, Woops, Strippin and Dyrus among others. He’s one of the first content creators who helped make the game popular during its early days.

Recently, he expressed his thoughts about racial injustice during his live stream. He also tweeted; “Black Lives Matter. I hope real change happens. Be safe.”

Though he didn’t engage with many of the replies, he went on to share his true feelings. The gaming and streaming community isn’t immune to the effects of the current political climate. Therefore, organizations, professional players, and content creators are standing up in support of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement.

Black Lives Matter has been one of the most contested issues in modern rhetoric. Stepping into any online conversation about Black Lives Matter will give you a crash course in the very emotional and aggressive rhetoric opposing the movement. Racism will not end until there is a level playing field. There will not be a level playing field until the majority of the voter base demands equity.
