The game Phasmophobia was released only four weeks ago. When it was released it quickly became popular. The game also became popular on Twitch, becoming last week the 5th most streamed game by streamers on the platform, surpassing other games such as Fortnite, Counter strike and others according to Twitch tracker.

Other streamers from every platform wanted to play this game when it was released. Even some of the most popular streamers such as Pewdiepie and Markiplier are streaming this game. This game became popular on Twitch because Twitch streamers are able to get together, joke around, laugh, and get scared while their audience watches.

What exactly is the game Phasmophobia? Phasmophobia consists of four players online; it is a psychological horror game that was developed by Kinetic games. In this game, the player goes to a haunted house or is placed together with some paranormal investigators. The location is full of scary paranormal activity and the investigators have their mission to find some clues and collect evidence. The more evidence collected, the more cash players can earn. All this needs to be done while avoiding being haunted or knocked out by the ghost. It is playable with either virtual reality or non virtual reality
