PewDiePie Disappointed With YouTube’s Decision To Remove Coco Diss Track

Pewdiepie has responded to the youtube decision to takedown of his diss track against cocomelon during one of his streams. Recently on February 14th, Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg aka PewDiePie have released a diss track and it quickly became viral on social media platforms. In the video, it was a 4 minute video that includes pewdiepie being dressed up like Mr Rogers while attacking the popular children youtube channel cocomelon and also pewdiepie dissing the popular controversial rapper 6ix9ine.

However on February 18th, the Youtube platform announced that they will be taking down the video, citing child safety concerns. As youtube wrote on twitter; “This video violated two policies: 1) Child safety: by looking like it was made for kids but containing inappropriate content. 2) Harassment: by inciting harassment @ other creators– we allow criticism but this crossed the line.” YouTube has also said that any reuploads of the video will be removed, even if they’re only partial clips. Now, during Pewdiepie’s February 21st stream on youtube, pewds was asked about the situation by many viewers. He ignored it at first but then was bombarded with questions on the diss track’s removal.

He made it clear that he will eventually address the entire situation as he stated; “Obviously, the music video got removed by YouTube. If there’s a place for me to address it, it’s not during a livestream, but I also really want to play today. I’m just going to say I’m really disappointed, and I obviously disagree, but I’m not going to address it further than that today. Part of me didn’t want to go live because I knew everyone was just going to ask about it. And I get it. But yeah, not here, sorry.”
