PewDiePie Cancels Contribution To The Anti-Defamation Alliance

PewDiePie has regularly confronted claims of supporting White supremacist and anti-Semitic messages, which he has  repeatedly denied. Presently, the YouTube star has fed the internet’s fury once once more after reports of his canceling  a gift to the Anti-Defamation Alliance.

PewDiePie, whose genuine title is Felix Kjellberg, said that he originally pledged  $50,000 to the nonprofit, whose essential mission is to “halt the maligning of  Jewish individuals, and to secure equity and reasonable treatment to all,” concurring to its site, to “put an end to thes alt-right claims” against him.

Felix received the $50,000 through his sponsorship of the shopping app Nectar. But clients addressed why he chose the nonprofit, which criticized him for supporting anti-Semitic comments in the past.

PewDiePie’s deprecatory comments have earned him a bounty of spoilers. Disney cut ties with the star in 2017 after he paid two men to hold a sign that proclaimed, “Passing to all Jews.” Afterwards he apologized for employing a racial slur in a video.

The shooter who killed 50 individuals within the Christchurch mosque shootings referenced the meme “Subscribe to PewDiePie” amid a livestream of the killings, which the YouTuber afterward condemned. It was that attempt of moving on to  that started the process of making the pledge.

None of this has affected  his loyal  fan base. PewDiePie, who regularly vlogs video diversions and memes, as of late celebrated reaching 100 million supporters on YouTube, where he’s earned the second-highest number of supporters of any maker.
