PewDiePie Answers Critics

One of the most popular youtube personalities Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg or most commonly known online as PewDiePie has recently reacted to the critics that were calling him hypocrite over his year old Reddit post. During pewdiepie’s recent video upload, he reacted to the old message that he had written in the past. The message that he read was from a fan asking why wouldn’t pewdiepie hire an editor instead of editing all by himself as it would make the job less easy for him and more comfortable.

Pewdiepie further reads his response to the old post and as seen in the video, he gave 4 reasons as to why he chose to edit his own videos. The first was that he feels like he was cheating on his fans. The second was that his videos would lose a huge part of him. Third, he enjoys the hard work, and lastly, he wanted to prove that even with the biggest channel on YouTube, you don’t have to have a lot of money as long as you have a camera and a passion. After reading his own reply, he responded to the resurfaced post and said that he stayed true to that idea. He claimed that he didn’t edit his videos anymore unlike 7 years ago but he also wouldn’t be able to upload nearly enough for this amount of time.

Then he further read some of the comments on the said post when he saw that one user called him a hypocrite. Pewdiepie responded instantly stating; “I don’t think I look like a hypocrite. I’ve talked about it and I’ve talked about how my view on it has changed. There’s no way I would be able to upload as many videos for this long of a time if I had edited myself. It just isn’t feasible.”
