Paige Banned From Twitch

WWE superstar Saraya-Jade Bevis, better known to the WWE universe as Paige, had her Twitch account banned due to copyright infringement. During her latest live broadcast on twitch, Paige, who goes by the username SarayaOfficial on Twitch, was hosting a watch party together with her viewers but then shortly after, her stream got cut off.

The stream got cut off during a watch-along stream of Jim Carey’s Dumb and Dumber and that movie is not eligible for Watch Parties on Twitch. Streamers on Twitch are generally allowed to host watch parties for several movies on the Amazon-owned platform, but the Jim Carey classic does not qualify. This isn’t the first time Paige has streamed a movie from her Twitch account as she had 1996’s Labyrinth streaming some time ago but did not get a ban then. She hasn’t commented on the suspension, nor has she posted anything via her social media accounts over the last few days. The ban should not be a permanent one as she’s a first-time offender where Twitch is concerned.

One’s first Twitch ban could last up to 30 days but there are ways and means of getting an account back up and running within a much shorter time frame. However, playing copyrighted material and receiving an official DMCA could mean more severe consequences. So, without Paige addressing the matter publicly, there’s no way to tell what the duration of her ban will be. Paige joined the streaming platform last year and quickly became one of the top wrestling personalities on the platform gaining more than 100k followers on her twitch channel.
