Overwatch Lucio Voice Actor’s Tips To Stop Toxicity

Overwatch actor Jonny Cruz gave tips to players and some advice on how to avoid toxicity in the game, especially for ranked players.

Jonny Cruz is best known for his role as Lucio’s voice, but he’s also a popular Twitch streamer. Frequently, the actor is ranked, and he has even competed against some of the Top 500 actors in the past.

During his previous stream, he discussed how players can avoid toxic teammates and how anyone who is frustrated with their team’s performance can improve their experience. Cruz’s advice could be extremely beneficial to a lot of players in a game where teamwork is so important.

Although it may sound like a tired cliche at this point, one of Cruz’s most important pieces of advice is to simply say nothing if you don’t have anything nice to say.

If it isn’t useful to the team and if it isn’t any information, don’t use and say it, reiterating that callouts are beneficial, but anything negative is unnecessary, and if you need someone to help you and you’re a healer, simply say, ‘hey, I’m coming to you.’ Where are you now? ‘I’m going to need some heals back here.’ It’s very clear and effective communication.

When you consider how much of a team game Overwatch is and how much cooperation with teammates determines whether you win or lose, Cruz’s point makes a lot of sense.

He, on the other hand, suggests taking conversations offline and talking to someone who will make you switch or play differently in a better setting saying that he himself approaches things nonviolently, and he believes he has a good relationship with his friends, family, and coworkers.

According to Cruz, Overwatch is a game with a lot of communication and that it’s no one else’s fault but yours if you’re not communicating and sitting angry at what’s going on and added that If someone is being toxic to you in-game, and you respond with violence or ego, you’re going to get it back.

When you’re playing ranked and things aren’t going your way, remember Lucio’s voice actor and see if his advice can help you defuse a tense situation.
