OTK Signs Streamer ExtraEmily

On January 31, 2023, popular streamer organization One True King (OTK) made two significant roster adjustments during a livestream at their shareholders meeting.

The signing of well-known content producer Emily “ExtraEmily” and the introduction of Emily “Emiru” as the new co-owners were both announced. The update gained a lot of attention on social media sites like Twitter and Reddit, where several discussion threads received hundreds of fan responses. At the 38-minute point of the shareholders meeting, Emiru made a statement via a video of the streamer dressed as a fantasy figure. 

She declared that she “took the crown” for herself, becoming the “King” of the Kingdom after humorously “slaying” the group’s co-founders: “So after slaying the evil dragon, the Old King, and the two jesters, she took the crown for herself and became the King of the Kingdom.”

The co-ownership was then announced as the camera panned toward Emiru. She remarked: “Yup! So, guys, I’m an owner! I am equity. I go to meetings and stuff! Whoo! Yeah, it’s fricking awesome! Well, that’s my cue, bye!”

An hour later, Chance “Sodapoppin” made the official statement on behalf of ExtraEmily, saying: “All right. Okay, ExtraEmily has joined OTK. She is here. We are very happy for this announcement. Another terribly kept secret, I think.” 

The native New Yorker said in her introduction: “Well, everyone, I’m ExtraEmily and I’m so excited to be the newest member of OTK! Just the fact that I’m even here is crazy! Like, I never would’ve thought and I really mean it when I say I feel very grateful that I can actually join an organization where I’m surrounded by friends! Right, guys?”
