OfflineTV Rust Server Creator Teases New Map

The ever popular OfflineTv Rust server has given the game Rust an unexpected boost in popularity during these recent months despite it being officially released back in 2013. Numerous top twitch streamers and streamers across platforms have joined to play the game on one server.

Some streamers have been quitting or taking a break from the game server as they feel a little burnt out these days after playing over 300 hours of rust ever since the server was created. While some are quitting, some streamers also will likely be planning to make their return in the game as they claimed that they are just going to take a break and try out other games too. Regardless, the creator of the server and twitch streamer baboabe has been planning out some changes coming to the server after the next wipe.

During one of his live streams, baboabe teased that there should be a new map for streamers, and there might even be a theme, as he explained; “I think it would be cool to have like a theme, so if we did like a Pirate theme right, we can literally make the entire map water, and then we can have one main island in the center”. He also claimed that there might be a few more surprises for players in terms of more player vs environment type scenarios where they’re fighting NPCs more frequently.
