Hasan Dogan Piker aka HasanAbi is one of the most popular American Twitch streamers and a political commentator. He has been growing as a Twitch streamer for years because of his gaming and political commentary. Hasan’s Twitch channel has become a hub for political content on Twitch, often inviting guests from both the streaming world and the political world onto his stream. He also appeared on the first ever stream of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez aka AOC on an Among Us stream together with some notable streamers.

The said stream broke Twitch records and reached for almost over a half a million concurrent viewers. That stream was to encourage young viewers to vote during the election. Hasan recently has become the number one most watched channel on the Twitch platform because of his live broadcast of the 2020 US Presidential Election on November 3rd. It crushed all other channels in the hours-watched metric with a total of 6,806,637 watch hours. It was followed by Gaules who had over 6,053,309 hours.

Also xQc, Tyler1 and Shroud followed as the next most-watched English-speaking channels, notwithstanding Riot Games, which of course is not an individual streamer but the main account for the League of Legends World Championship stream. Some are thinking that Hasan’s viewership will drop somewhat after the madness of the election is over but now he just continues to go with the flow and the longer the vote-counting takes, the better for his stats.
