NICKMERCS Take For Modern Warfare 2

Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff, a popular streamer, has revealed that MW2 will see him return to Warzone, giving Call of Duty fans optimism for his long-awaited return to the BR.

The announcement that Infinity Ward is working on Warzone 2 alongside MW2 has sparked a lot of interest in the Call of Duty community. While Vanguard was well received, the WW2 shooter received a mixed response. NICKMERCS has been one of the most vocal opponents of Warzone’s Vanguard integration. Since leaving the BR, the popular streamer has been busy grinding out competitive Apex Legends games. Nick, on the other hand, has stated that the MW2 Warzone integration would entice him to return to the CoD BR in a heartbeat.

Nick said, “I think it’s a great move and that’s more like it. Even with that being said, I don’t have any real ambition to play MW2 – as surprising as that may be. I might hop on it a little bit.”

Many players have become increasingly optimistic for the future of the franchise after the creators revealed that both MW2 and Warzone 2 will be “designed together from the ground up.” This is especially true for NICKMERCS, who was rejected by Vanguard.

He continued; “As long as Call of Duty is old-fashioned bullsh*t, I have zero intentions [of going back] I can’t even wrap my head around why you guys play that sh*t. It’s so f*cking bad, I’ve always hated it.”

Naturally, Nick is eager to return to Warzone now that WW2 has ended. It’s also worth noting that both the next Call of Duty game and Warzone are powered by a new engine, which Nick is enthused about. “F*ck the WW2 stuff, now we’re going to MW2 – one of the most iconic, wildly popular Call of Duty games ever. I mean, you build a good battle royale around that, now we’re talking.”

While specifics on Warzone 2 and MW2 are scant, it’s evident that Nick is eager to return to the Warzone franchise once both games are released.
