NICKMERCS Gives Sarcastic Response To Critics

Nick Kolcheff AKA Nickmercs recently switched from Warzone to Apex Legends, and his YouTube views have suffered as a result — but he didn’t back down when confronted by someone who disagreed with him.

Nick’s transition to Apex Legends was probably difficult after months as the top Warzone streamer, but he seems to prefer the Apex Legends ranked grind to hopping into Warzone public matches. He’s now the most popular Apex Legends streamer — by a long shot — and while he’s having a lot of success on Twitch, it’s not translating as well on YouTube.

There have been lulls in his subscribers and views recently, as you can see in the graphs below from SocialBlade. In the grand scheme of things, however, his situation doesn’t change much. He’s still one of Twitch’s biggest names, and he’s doing NFL commercials, but more importantly, he’s clearly having fun with the game.

So when one of NICMERC’s Twitch viewers tried to make fun of him for his low YouTube views, the Twitch star didn’t back down saying that his YouTube views are a little bit down and responded that he didn’t want to bring his energy to the said viewer right now, but he have to because the viewer did and sarcastically explain that the views he’s getting on YouTube right now are worth more money than the viewer’s family makes in a year, let alone a month and says to the viewer that he doesn’t know “what you’re flexing on me for,” despite the fact that “me and the team do work.”

He continued admitting that it really is down but he’s definitely having fun and stream what he wants and he uploads. Needless to say, Nick is content with his current situation and is accomplishing something that most content creators can only dream of.
