Neekolul Opens Up On Escaping Abusive Relationship

Popular Twitch streamer Nicole Sanchez aka neekolul has recently posted a google document on twitter sharing her story with her abusive ex boyfriend. Back in 2020, neekolul rose into popularity following her tiktok video going viral on the internet. Since then, she has been quietly working on building a platform for herself on twitch. While Neekolul was climbing the Twitch ladder, behind closed doors, she was dealing with an abusive relationship.

On March 14th, neekolul posted a four page long Google document on twitter. In the document, she opened up on the “emotional, mental, and physical abuse” that she received from a long-term partner back when she was 15 years old. She detailed every scenario that she experienced including her partner holding her at knifepoint, assaulting her numerous times, and taking advantage of her financially. According to her, the abuse started out when her partner was accusing her of cheating for simply wearing a skirt or speaking with other male classmates.

The abuse started out as pushing, shoving, and twisting/pinching sensitive areas of her body. Then when she reached ages 15-18, the abuse escalated as time went on as his partner started slapping her, choking, slamming, threatening her life at knife point and more. Neekolul also stated that she attempted to try to raise the issue with her partner’s parents and the police but it fell on deaf ears. Now, neekolul has opened up as part of her “healing process,” and to encourage other victims of abuse to speak up. She has received an outpouring of support from friends and fans on Twitter.
