Nadeshot’s Response to 100 Thieves Pricing Backlash

The CEO of the 100 Thieves organization Matthew Haag aka Nadeshot has now responded to the backlash of the launch of the 100 Thieves Foundations collection as it has been criticized about its price.

100 Thieves is one of the most popular lifestyle brands and gaming organizations, based in Los Angeles, California. They are without a doubt, one of the world’s premier esports organizations when it comes to all aspects of the scene and their merchandise has been leading the way since Nadeshot formed the org.

However, the launch of their new Foundations apparel line has an ample amount of controversy surrounding its pricing of some options. At first glance it appeared the Foundations line was going to be one of 100 Thieves most popular yet, touted as being an everyday, more purchasable line of clothing compared to other drops 100 Thieves has done in the past, but then people saw the price and reacted to it.

Some people are addressing this on their twitter with one user stating “Nadeshot and 100T should be ashamed” and it was because of the $135 hoodie that was listed on the site. Because of this, CEO of the 100thieves Nadeshot has now responded to the backlash in a twitter post explaining and defending the costs of their new Foundations apparel line. Nadeshot replied to the fan’s tweet as he went on to detail where they source their products from, and how they use the best designers, best manufacturers and best materials.

Nadeshot wrote,;”That’s a $135 Anorak, not a hoodie. We are an apparel brand, not a merch company. We hire the best designers, we work with the best manufacturers, and we use the best materials. From our custom YKK zipper pulls, custom metal aglets, and water resistant nylon.”
