Mushu Slams Twitch For Banning “Booty” Emote

Twitch streamer mushu_la or simply mushu has recently called out twitch for banning an emote featuring a booty from her channel while allowing the new trend of ASMR meta. After the hot tub meta has seemingly died down because of the new category, the twitch’s new ASMR and legging streams have been taking over the platform in the past few weeks.

The hot tub streamers such as Amouranth and Indiefoxx jumped into this new trend. In this kind of stream, the streamers were laying down on what is considered as many to be sexualized positions while licking their ASMR microphones. Now, because of this trend, some streamers have been accusing twitch of double standards for what is and isn’t allowed.

Some streamers such as Asmongold shared his opinion regarding this matter stating that Twitch is at fault for not acting sooner during the hot tub meta.

Now another streamer has called out for twitch as twitch streamer Mushu posted a series of tweets stating that twitch have banned an emote on her channel featuring a monster’s “booty” while allowing the ASMR streams on their platform. According to her twitter post, she received an email from the Partner Conduct team, explaining how her emote had been reported for breaking the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Together with the screenshot of the email, she also posted a photo of twitch streamer Amouranth showing off her backside while licking a microphone to point out the double standards while Mushu captioned: “A story in two parts. Like I don’t give a damn what you stream, but have the same rules for everyone!” Mushu made it clear that she wasn’t targeting Amouranth specifically but was using her to prove a point.
