MrBeast: Why I Never Box YouTubers

Even if people want to see him box, one of the most popular YouTube personalities Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast has stated why he won’t be getting into the influencer boxing business anytime soon.

For years, social media celebrities have turned their online jabs into physical ones, donning boxing gloves and settling their differences in the ring. Even if names like the Paul brothers and KSI continue to talk about future matches, some fans want to see new faces enter the ring.

Mr Beast, like almost every other prominent YouTuber, has been asked whether he wants to battle another content creator at some time, but turns out he has no desire in doing so, and it’s only because he’d become a meme if he lost.

MrBeast claimed while speaking on the Colin and Samir podcast that boxing has the perfect recipe for creating great spectacles, especially when two famous names square off, and that he enjoys watching fights with his friends. 

Even if he’s had ideas about fighting, he won’t be answering someone’s call and stepping into the ring as he stated; “It’s like so much time. I’ve got so much going on, so many employees, so much that depends on this channel, I just can’t spend six months just training two/three times a day. I’ve had people ask me to box and I’m like bro, if I just spend the next six months training, people lose their job, and I don’t care to do that.” 

The mantra in boxing is never say never, but MrBeast appears to have made up his mind and isn’t willing to change it. Some fans will want to see him in the ring, but they may have to settle for a lighthearted video instead.
