MrBeast Wants His League Team ‘Beast Gaming’ In The LCS

Youtuber MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, revealed that he plans on creating a League of Legends esports team in the future. MrBeast is well known for his insane stunts and philanthropic giveaways. Obviously, his content hardly revolves around gaming and esports but back in October 2020 during his 24-hour giveaway live broadcast, one viewer asked him if he was thinking of creating a League of legends esports team.

MrBeast quickly responded to the viewer without hesitation as he stated; “Oh yeah, not even thinking, it’s happening.” MrBeast went on to say that it will soon be happening but it will not be happening this season nor during the summer split. However, he made sure that he definitely is going to have a ‘Beast Gaming’ League of Legends Team. MrBeast further added; “I definitely want one, I don’t want to say too much [about] what I have planned. But… it would just be so much fun. I spend so much time watching so… I might as well watch one of my teams, you know what I mean? It’ll be a lot of fun.” Knowing MrBeast, he has plenty of money and therefore funding an esports team won’t be a problem to him.

In his recent tweet, he brought up the possibility of owning a League of Legends as he replied in one of his fan tweets saying that creating an esports team will take him around 2 years as he has a lot of plans right now. He wrote; “I just want a league team, probably won’t be for two years because I have a lot going on atm”. The possible target date for Mr Beast is around 2023 to put together his resources to put an LoL team together and file them for a league.
