MrBeast, Dream & More ‘Ratio’ Wendy’s On Twitter

On February 26th, Minecraft YouTubers and fans rallied to boycott Wendy’s after the company appeared to jokingly shade Minecraft streamers such as GeorgeNotFound, Dream and more. It all started when the fast-food chain Wendy’s twitter account asked if they should ban Minecraft streamer GeorgeNotFound amidst GeorgeNotFound’s recent TikTok ban.

They even put a poll beneath the post with a Yes or No. A confused user asked in the comments, “who’s George,” then the company replied stating; “streamer kid, we’re all having a laugh.” Shortly after, several streamers and creators flocked to the Tweet to try and ‘ratio’ it. Dream, a fellow minecraft streamer with over 18M followers, posted a picture of Denny’s and asked his followers to boycott Wendy’s. As well as other creators like George himself, Quackity, and BadBoyHalo getting tens of thousands of likes on their replies of images of rival food chains. Popular youtuber MrBeast have also chimed into the Twitter war as he posted an image of his very own food chain MrBeast Burger, getting 65,000 likes on his tweet.

While streamer ConnorEatsPants replied stating; “Only took ur social media manager a year to realize pandering to Minecrafters is a lucrative endeavor”. Wendy’s replied saying; “Who are you”? Shortly after, Connor replied with a link to a ‘Boycott Wendy’s’ site, and it didn’t take long before the hashtag #BoycottWendys was trending on Twitter because of all these huge names participating in the Twitter beef with the company.
