MrBeast and Doublelift Mock Tyler1’s Height

As he sat in a call with friends Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast and Yiliang Peng aka Doublelift, Twitch streamer Tyler1’s height was questioned. The three of them had gotten together to play League of Legends and were waiting for a match to load up when Doublelift pulled up an old photo of Tyler’s. This sparked a brief controversy about his “real” height.

Tyler1, Doublelift, MrBeast were gathered for a few League of Legends games. While waiting for their match to start, the three started talking about various issues. Doublelift brought a picture of Tyler1 to the table at one point, one that is well-known among Steinkamp fans and non-fans alike. 

Tyler1 defended himself when the other two questioned his true height, saying, “Bad camera angle. Bad lighting. They had her standing on a box AND Photoshop.” 

MrBeast responded that he was “starting to pick up on the joke…,” to which Tyler1 retorted that “it’s not a joke.” Donaldson, on the other hand, had a snappy retort ready, continuing his previous sentence: “…that you’re not six foot five.”

Tyler1 exploded in rage, launching a barrage of insults in defense of his ostensibly true height. He exclaimed; “I am six foot five you stupid b****, you hear me boy? I am six foot five. I’ve been measured on the stream several times.” Tyler got up and exited the room at that time, while MrBeast and Doublelift continued to rag on the streamer in a lighthearted manner. Donaldson said that he had never met anyone who had to justify their height, although Doublelift claimed stating; “Usually people who are six foot five aren’t constantly bringing it up. I gotta say, last time I saw Tyler in real life, I cast a shadow over him. It was humiliating. I was just towering over him.

Tyler1 returned to his desk later, informing the group that he had gone looking for his ruler but had been unsuccessful. He then started again that he was six feet five inches tall. People on the Livestream Fail subreddit, on the other hand, didn’t miss an opportunity to poke fun at the situation. 

The picture in question is one of Tyler1 looking at Mel Capperina-Garcia at TwitchCon 2018, which the latter hosted. This specific image went popular across multiple platforms, with many people making memes out of it without even knowing who Tyler1 is.
