Although many stepped up to defend MrBeast, he was instantly the target of criticism from those who claimed that he just carried out the viral charity acts for views and influence. The most recent to do so is YouTube sensation MoistCr1TiKal, who used his Twitter account to denounce individuals who were criticizing the viral influencer.

On March 10, Charlie addressed the criticism MrBeast has been receiving in a tweet. He said; “MrBeast helped more people? Luckily the intellectual saints on Twitter are here to explain why good things are actually evil, and nothing positive is real.”

Tens of thousands of individuals have liked his message in the roughly three million times his tweet has been viewed since it was posted. Despite MrBeast’s explanation of the financial element of his philanthropy channel, one of the main talking points of the recent backlash against him is that many think he’s only doing it for the money.

In a tweet, he said, “100% of all revenue from beast philanthropy goes towards running my food banks and helping ease human suffering, and since inception, I’ve personally put in millions into beast philanthropy.”
