Mizkif’s Stream Goes Terribly Wrong

Matthew Rinaudo, most commonly known by his online name Mizkif, is a popular twitch streamer with more than 900k followers on the platform. Mizkif has been holding his own Twitch Plays Pokemon livestream for a while now. Twitch Plays Pokemon is a livestream where the viewers get to decide different actions in a game of Pokemon by inputting commands into chat, which in turn controls what happens on screen.

Mizkif’s most recent goal was beating the game’s 7th gym in 24 hours. While in the middle of his stream, the chat voted to release his level 62 Charizard into the wild and meaning that he had to get rid of the Pokemon, but considering that it was a high level, it was clearly a huge loss. There were over 102 people who voted to select “a” which officially released the Pokemon back into the wild.

It’s absolutely hilarious due to the amount of people inputting commands at the same time, especially when there are many people watching the stream and participating. On December 20th, streamer Nmplol left a task for his audience that they had to ask for releasing Mizkif’s Charizard within 24 hours and, in exchange, he would gift 500 subs. It didn’t happen within the 24 hour timeframe as Mizkif’s Charizard was released on December 22nd.
