Mizkif Accidentally Restarts Progress on Jump King

Twitch streamer Mizkif was left stunned after he accidentally restarted his progress in the game Jump King during his recent live stream.

YouTube and Twitch streamers have the ability to pull video games out of obscurity, sometimes years after release, and help titles become viral sensations overnight. The best example for this was Phasmophobia and Among Us which has experienced a surge in popularity thanks to streamers. Now, another game to benefit from the spotlight of streamers has been Jump King: There Is a Smoking Hot Babe at the Top by Nexile.

The goal of the game was to reach the top of the map, but that seemingly simple task is made more difficult by gravity. One of the biggest streamers who took part in the game recently was twitch streamer Mizkif. But then during his recent live broadcast, he ended up being mad at himself after Mizkif accidentally lost all of his progress when Jump King unexpectedly restarted.

In the stream, Mizkif was putting nearly seven hours into the game but then Mizkif seems to have been playing with a controller, where the Q key was bound to a button too close to Jump King’s action commands. It turns out that the game’s keyboard command for “Restart” is set to Q by default on PC. He was stunned for a few seconds, then shortly after, he seems to realize what just happened as he stated; “That is just not fair.”

Mizkif proceeded to rebind the keys on his controller and looked to see if there was perhaps a save of his progress, but he couldn’t find one. Eventually, Mizkif jumped right back into the game, stating; “Yeah, I’m mad… Am I supposed to be ecstatic? That was seven hours of work. But I’ll get right up there. I love this game.” He then played for another seven hours.
