MissMiikkaa Plays Elden Ring With One Hand

One of Elden Ring’s toughest bosses is Malenia, according to legend. But despite her notorious reputation, a Twitch streamer easily defeated her at rune level 1 while using just one hand.

Malenia, one of the several bosses, gained instant notoriety within the Elden Ring society. Malenia is a true giant of a boss fight, despite the fact that she is quite little, at least in comparison to the normal monstrosities. “I am Malenia. Blade of Miqella. And I have never known defeat.” Her now iconic line sends chills down the spines of casual players — who see her as an overwhelming wall to surmount.

MissMiikkaa, a Twitch streamer, on the other hand, views it as only another workday. 

She has been playing the game at rune level 1 the entire time, which is a common challenge to increase difficulty. But MissMikkaa added one more component to the equation on top of this already nearly insurmountable restriction: she is playing one-handed. In addition to her regular face camera, Miikkaa also has a second webcam that shows her inputs. Her left hand is continually resting over a PlayStation controller on this webcam. 

To prevent her from playing with both hands, the other hand is covered by a Twitch sock. After all, it would be rather clear if a vivid purple sock just popped out of nowhere on the screen. It takes Miikkaa a few tries to defeat Malenia, but it’s clear from the streamer’s first moves that she has the fight under control. 

She conversed with her viewers, enjoying back and forth engagement with her Twitch Chat; “I’m not even looking at the screen while I’m dodging. Is that a good sign?”

The bulk of two-handed players couldn’t even begin to match her expertise as she deftly dodged each sword slash during the last run. “This is actually really good,” Mikkaa remarked before killing Malenia, and then delivered the fatal blow. The Twitch streamer let out a cheer: “oh my god, we got her. Wooo!”

She then exclaimed with joy at the well-earned triumph as she hurled the sock-covered hand and her playing hand into the air.
