Mini Ladd Banned

Craig Thompson, most commonly known online as Mini Ladd, one of the UK’s most popular content creators, has been banned from Twitch indefinitely. The streaming platform did not initially specify why it issued the ban, but Mini Ladd was in a lot of hot water last year for inappropriate behavior with underage fans. As a result of his actions, Twitch has now indefinitely suspended and permanently banned Thompson from the platform following his admittance to the allegations in an apology video uploaded in December.

Esports Insider Rod “Slasher” Breslau has tweeted out regarding the ban as Slasher wrote; “Twitch has indefinitely suspended/permanently banned Mini Ladd. Mini Ladd has faced accounts of sending inappropriate messages to underage fans, which he admitted to in his apology video last year”. Regarding the allegations, last year, two women accused Mini Ladd of manipulating them while they were underage. Mini Ladd apologized shortly after and decided to take a break until August 2020. Upon his return, he uploaded a youtube video where he responded to the sexual assault and grooming allegations, however, the apology was called “crap” by the streaming community.

Additionally, Mini Ladd’s ex-girlfriend, Samantha “SuniDey” Dey, also spoke out against him, saying he was “extremely toxic and manipulative” in their relationship too. It’s unknown if Mini Ladd will attempt a return to content creation but, in light of his Twitch ban, it’s unlikely he’ll return to the live streaming platform.
