MarkiLokurasY is Unbanned

Twitch is always the subject of controversial news, whether it’s about the site itself, the streamers it contains, or the fans of those streamers.

The platform was recently hacked, resulting in a massive data leak, which could be the platform’s most significant development in recent memory. However, for those who use Twitch to stream or watch, life is very much back to normal now that the harm has been controlled for the time being.

When Spanish streamer MarkiLokurasY received a permanent ban a little over a month ago, several of those users were disappointed, but now, they have a reason to be less worried now.

The cause for MarkiLokurasY’s permanent ban had nothing to do with his terrible behavior or line-crossing. It resulted from the fact that he had already been banned twice, with a third time resulting in a lifetime ban. The last suspension came after a naked man was caught on video during a protracted livestream, violating Twitch’s sexual content restrictions.

Now twitch, in a remarkable turnaround, has lifted the permanent ban, allowing MarkiLokurasY to return to the platform. This is a major turn of fortune for MarkiLokurasY, especially considering it took Axiun two years to come back on Twitch after a non-permanent ban.

As of this writing, no justification has been given for the reversal of what was supposed to be a permanent ban, but various possibilities exist. To begin with, it was never MarkiLokurasY’s goal to break the rules, and he stated that he was actively seeking to prevent problems like this on stream. Although the words are broad, that does not mean that they must be followed to the letter in every case.

MarkiLokurasY has amassed over one million followers, making him one of the most prominent Spanish streamers. It’s difficult to believe that a regular streamer would be so fortunate as to have a permanent ban lifted with no reason.
