Ludwig’s Twitch Mods Receive a Six-Figure Paycheck

During Twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren’s recent subathon stream, he promised to pay his moderators $5,000 a day to keep the stream chat’s clean and entertaining all throughout the 31-day subathon. The headline figures from Ludwig Ahgren’s Twitch subathon are impressive, breaking the all-time highest subscriber count. Every subscription on Twitch costs at least $4.99, with the highest tier being $24.99.

The full amount doesn’t go to the broadcaster, as Twitch itself takes a portion. Aside from this, Ludwig had some outgoings too as he was paying his moderators a healthy rate for their work throughout the month of streaming, making charitable donations, matching subs himself and more. As recently revealed, Ludwig’s Twitch mods receive a six-figure paycheck during his 31-day subathon stream. Ludwig has 17 moderators to pull big shifts for the subathon and he promised his moderators $5,000 a day.

Therefore, that is $155,000 split 17 ways. However, it seems like Ludwig actually went a bit bigger as one of his mods named ‘slime’ revealed that the “mod payroll” for the 31 days reportedly totalling $167,000 USD and which is almost $10,000 per Ludwig mod, on average. Ludwig’s moderators did more than just look at chat and ban any trolls during his Twitch subathon as they also entertained viewers after Ludwig went to bed in his little red racecar, playing party games between each other and chatting for hours.
