Ludwig’s Error

Ludwig’s Error

Ludwig Ahgren has recently switched platforms and secured an exclusive partnership with YouTube Gaming in yet another major move, or as the guy himself refers to it, a record-breaking Twitch streamer. The “Golden Boy” of Twitch had a hilarious mix-up on his first stream on YouTube, which had fans in splits.

Ludwig made the most important decision of his career yesterday. And a number of co-streamers, like CouRageJD and Valkyrae, agreed with Ludwig’s decision to make the switch. Valkyrae, the Queen of YouTube, didn’t hold back in her reaction to the announcement, blasting Twitch’s handling of its content creator.

Ludwig set himself up hysterically on his first stream following his exclusivity deal with his new home, YouTube Gaming, and had to apologize for his silly mistake. His most recent stream was devoted to discussing the relocation as well as a chat-based Q&A session in which the YouTuber was threatened with being shot with a paintball gun if he didn’t respond. But while explaining the mechanism, Ludwig said, “I have a deathtrap right next to me. This right here is a Twitch chat…” He said “Twitch chat” instead of YouTube.

He then raised his hands and asked his fans, the majority of whom had followed their favorite streamer from Twitch to YouTube, to look past it. He urged them to look over his mistake and cautioned them that it might happen again, albeit unintentionally. Ludwig explained; “That’s gonna happen a couple times, those are kinks, we’re gonna glaze over those,”

He also expressed regret to the platform’s officials and joked, “Can we not remove the contract YouTube..um.. overlords, please?”

Ludwig’s move to YouTube Gaming means Twitch has lost a number of its highest-paid content creators to its rival, as the multi-talented YouTuber joined the ranks of Dr Disrespect, TimTheTatman, and DrLupo CouRageJD, among others.
