Ludwig Gold Play Button

Ludwig Gold Play Button

Ludwig, a YouTube streamer, recently tweeted a picture of the red platform’s gold play button. For all content creators, receiving this accolade from YouTube is a dream come true, and it’s definitely a dream come true for him as well.

The play button Ludwig received from YouTube, on the other hand, is unique, but not the one he had hoped for. There is a big catch.

Many online content creators consider YouTube to be one of the fastest growing platforms available today. Many well-known streamers and content creators have been flocking to YouTube because of its rapidly growing user base. YouTube has certainly established a tremendous community of streamers on its site, from streamer of the year to Dr. Disrespect. The play buttons, on the other hand, are perhaps one of the most popular features that YouTube provides to its content creators. Essentially, these play buttons serve as a creator award, honoring all of their achievements on the red platform.

These play buttons are based on the subscriber count of the channel and go all the way up to the Diamond Play button (for 10 million subscribers).  Naturally, any content creator would be ecstatic to get such a prestigious award.

But, in the most hilarious way conceivable, that’s exactly what happened to YouTube streamer Ludwig. Instead of a proper play button, he was rewarded for being the red platform’s shortest streamer.

He received the gold play button for being the shortest YouTube livestream. Ludwig shared the photo with his followers on his official Twitter account. The streamer highlights the amusing honor by saying: “I’ve been waiting for my gold play button for one year and this is what YouTube sent me…”

Susan Wojcicki, the CEO of YouTube, retweeted the same with a humorous caption. saying: “It was worth the trip to hand deliver this award…. and see your response LudwigAhgren!”
