Ludwig Contributes Over $350,000 to Charities

Twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren has donated a whopping amount of money of $350,000 to charities using his earnings during his month-long straight subathon stream. Back on March 14th, 2021, Twitch streamer Ludwig decided to start his own subathon stream. It has become a huge success as he boasted roughly 282,000 subscribers, according to TwitchTracker breaking the longtime record that was held by twitch star Ninja with 269,154 subscribers. In addition to subscribers, Ludwig’s follower count shot up drastically.

He boasts 2.6 million followers and maintained an average viewership of over 40,000 during the subathon. Before the subathon stream ends, Ludwig announced that his earnings through the subathon stream will be donated to the organizations in need so in its final hours, Ludwig agreed to increase the amount he would donate per subscriber to $5. Now after his massively popular subathon stream, Ludwig has now announced the final donations had gone through to charities with earnings from the stream. Slime was the one who shared the name of the organizations that the donation was going to.

He shared that over $350,000 was being donated overall to six different organizations and these organisation was; $200,000 went to the No Kid Hungry charity whose goal is to end childhood hunger in the U.S., $57,065 to the Humane Society animal welfare non-profit, and another went to $57,065 St Jude children’s research hospital. The remaining donation money went to CO Homeless Coalition, Free Meal Program University District, and a final $10,000 went to Slime’s old school. This huge donation was made possible thanks to the subscribers supporting Ludwig’s stream over its duration.
