Ludwig And YouTube Subathon

Ludwig And YouTube Subathon

Ludwig has finally made his YouTube debut, and during his first stream, he dismissed demands for a second “Twitch subathon” on his new home, but confessed that one thing could persuade him otherwise.

From March 14th to April 14th, the newly-minted YouTube streamer held a unique place in Twitch history: he maintained his stream running 24 hours a day for 31 days. The massive Twitch subathon spurred thousands of copycat, earning him more than 2.6 million followers on what is now his former streaming website, and cemented his spot atop Amazon’s popular platform’s all-time subscriber numbers, ensuring his place in Twitch history.

Even after his major YouTube switch, Ludwig still has one question: when is he going to hold a “subathon 2.0”? It’s been nine months since the star’s month-long effort came to a tear-jerking close, and Ludwig still has one question: when is he going to stage a “subathon 2.0”?

Ludwig irrevocably undermined the idea in his first YouTube stream: “I’m never doing another subathon,” he remarked. “Call it what you want, but I’m not doing it!”  However, while Ludwig was first adamant that he would “never” conduct a subathon — or, more accurately, a “memberathon” — on YouTube, the in-demand streamer swiftly changed his mind, with one condition.

He stated; “Look, unless! Caveat. Unless it was for a charity event. And then I would consider it. Like, if someone came to me and said it would be $100,000 a day to charity. Then I’ll stay live for that day. Keep going from there, you know what I mean? But that’s very hypothetical.”

He quickly clarified that this was not an announcement adding; “I don’t have any plans, before you assume something. None at all. Zero plans there!”

The bottom line is that there’s a chance Ludwig will never host “Subathon 2.0,” especially after the YouTube sensation revealed that even discussing the notion made him feel “very weird.”
