Jimmy Donaldson, most commonly known online as MrBeast is well known on YouTube for his expensive stunts and philanthropy. He rose to fame with entertaining YouTube videos featuring insane challenges and insane giveaways. Mr Beast recently created a new channel on YouTube “Mr Beast Gaming” and it is where he often plays games like Minecraft and Among Us, and often gives away prizes to those he plays with.

As for this time of the Christmas holiday, Mr Beast  launched a giveaway on Twitter as he tweeted to his followers offering a whopping $10,000 to five people who retweet. He tweeted out; “I’m going to give 5 people that retweet this tweet $10,000 each to celebrate Christmas! (Make sure you follow me so I can dm you if you win!). I will show proof!” The tweet of Mr Beast surprisingly received record-breaking attention as the tweet now has 1 million retweets at the time of this writing, making it the 25th most-shared post on Twitter in history.

Since he just posted the tweet recently, it is possible that the post will move up several spots and has a chance to become the most retweeted post, which is currently held by Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa with 4.3 million retweets. Aside from the Twitter giveaway, Mr Beast has also made substantial philanthropic contributions such as opening a restaurant chain that is giving away free meals, and several other giveaways including giving $1,000,000 to random people in a recent YouTube video.
