Popular Streamer Lirik is Banned from Twitch

Saqib Zahid, aka Lirik, is one Twitch’s more popular streamers with over 2 million followers.

Lirik was recently banned from Twitch. As stated by many viewers, Lirik accidentally shows a video clip which shows a blurred dildo but was removed immediately. Streambans Twitter account tweeted that Lirik had been banned.

Lirik spoke with Twitch about the issue and Twitch agreed with fans and Lirik that the ban was just a mistake. He thanked Twitch for fixing the problem so quickly. However, he still apologized to his viewers for the video that led to his ban saying that it “must have slipped”.

Lirik tweeted; “During the latest Lirik & Chill there was a video shown that should have not been shown on stream. It must have slipped through my approve/deny. I apologize! Everything is resolved now. Thank you @twitch for working so fast!”.

His ban lasted for 42 minutes. Thankfully, Lirik was on hand to explain and apologize to the situation saying that the video wasn’t meant to be.
