Lilypichu Money Is Spent On Genshin Impact

Lily “LilyPichu” Ki, a well-known Twitch streamer, has said that she spent more money on Genshin Impact than she earned doing voice acting for it.

The large cast of vibrant characters in Genshin Impact is well-known, and they may all be unlocked through Wishes, the game’s gacha system. Even though some units can be obtained at no cost, the best characters frequently demand a large sum of Primogems, especially when rolling for particular 5-stars. Things can grow fairly expensive for those wanting to unlock every new unit because there is no assurance that you’ll ever obtain the characters you want. After all, there are instances where Genshin Impact gamers paid thousands of dollars to obtain the desired 5-star rating. 

The gacha system in Genshin Impact, however, has been the subject of recent personal accounts from LilyPichu, who detailed how she wound up spending more on Wishes than HoYoverse compensated her for her voice acting services. For those who are unaware, LilyPichu had the chance to provide the English voice for Sayu, the tiny ninja from Genshin Impact. This was undoubtedly a significant occasion for the well-known streamer, who expressed how thrilled the part made her feel as a fan of the game. 

Since then, Lily has become enamored with the free-to-play game and has discussed how, after being cast in Genshin Impact, she grew fixated on it. During a recent episode of the Trash Taste podcast, the streamer admitted, “I went down this Genshin rabbit hole. I was playing the game, spending money, I was rolling for 5-star characters, I was watching Genshin MMDs on YouTube – it was bad.”

Lily said that Genshin Impact had cost her more than HoYoverse had paid her, when asked how much she had ever spent on a gacha game. “I basically paid back the money that they paid me – it’s terrible, I stopped spending money and I stopped playing. I had to uninstall Cookie Run and Genshin,” explained Lily.

Take extreme caution when rolling on each banner because, like every gacha game, spending money in Genshin Impact can be risky and result in a big financial loss.
