Lachlan No Longer Has “Burning Passion” For Creating Videos

Popular fortnite player Lachlan recently addresses on his twitter that he seems to can’t find the passion for creating videos. Lachlan Ross Power or simply Lachlan is a gaming YouTuber mostly known for his Fortnite videos, although he had previously been successful in Pixelmon, How to Minecraft and Pokémon GO series. On his february 21st tweet, he wrote; “For the record I love playing Fortnite and enjoy playing it almost everyday. Just creatively I can’t find the passion I once did for creating content, And it feels like recycling another challenge video only draws me further away from it.”

It seems like Lachlan is losing interest in creating content in Fortnite and every video is pushing him further from the game. He states that this is due to the repetitive nature of the challenges and game. The way he describes making videos shows that he feels it’s all just a repeat of other videos he’s done. We can’t blame Lachlan as Fortnite has not done much to make challenges feel new or exciting on their own. Also, many fortnite players are expressing disinterest in the game.

Many gamers are disappointed that there is a lot in Fortnite that is just a paid partnership with other studios and many cited the entirety of Chapter 2 Season 4 a’s Fortnite’s biggest problem. Season 4 had characters, emotes, map changes, Lore, and an ending that had everything to do with Marvel. While it is fun, however it was a sign that Epic Games was willing to change a lot just to make money on a collaboration.
