Lacari Spends More Than $2000 To Purchase Rare Character

Twitch streamer, Lacari is well known for playing Genshin Impact. Genshin Impact was free to play, but many players and streamers are spending big money, not just hundreds but thousands of dollars to receive a rare character. Getting these high tier characters was not supposed to be important, but the Genshin Impact content was addicting for other gamers like Lacari who paid over $2000 just to get a rare character.

Some of the characters in this game were given out for free from the start. Some high star characters could be acquired with wishes and accomplishments, like when you reached Adventure rank 20, while the 5 star character could be attained through a gatcha system. It was hard to collect these kinds of characters but Lacari decided to collect them.

While he was trying to get the 5 star character into this game, he was spending almost $1500 through gatcha system and he was being laughed at in the chat by the fans. But he didn’t stop there. He kept on going through and said; “Do you know the chances of getting a five-star”? One responded; “It’s 0.6 percent”.

But even as fans continued to mock him for not getting the character, he just kept on trying and trying until he finally got his 5 star character Keqing.
